This resource enables users to access the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) guidance that addresses the intricacies of hours of service regulations and the varied nature of railroad operations. It serves as a comprehensive tool to streamline information into a single manual, promoting standardized application and compliance.

Users have the option to select from different railroad user groups, including Freight, Passenger, Dispatching, or Signal employees. It is important to note that while the information provided in the mobile application is valuable, it is not intended to replace essential reference documents such as 49 CFR Part 228, FRA Operating Practices Technical Bulletins, and official FRA correspondence that specifically address hours of service matters. These documents should continue to serve as the principal resources when dealing with federal hours of service requirements.
